I bought this in order to install a Pioneer DEH-P980BT in my 2008 Dodge Ram 2500. Instructions were easy to follow and took about 10 minutes to install. It works as advertised. PROS: Allows for use of two 12V+ and one 12V+ accessory power. CONS: Price.

What can i say, it is almost all plug and play with the Scosche cro3sr you just have to hook up to your head unit and then plug in to your car wire harness and your good to go.

This adapter works flawlessly with my rams computer, radio shuts off when door is opened and head unit changes brightness when headlights are turned on. Love sonics customer service and prices almost seems too good to be true its so rare anymore to find outstanding customer service!

The Joy of Not Cutting Factory Wires

I have to say i was not going to buy this item, because it was a bit much. but there is no greater joy then not having to cut the wires in you car to install your after-market deck. this harness enables you to connect your new deck without cutting factory wire, which make install a breeeezze!! just connect new harness to vehicle harness, then tie new harness wires to deck wires, and there she goes. install should be no more than 10 minutes. i would advise everyone that owns a Chrylser, Dodge and Jeep vehicle to acquire this harness. A MUST BUY!!!

Actually works!

I had my doubts about using the product at first and after opening the box and seeing all the wires I had to connect the doubt didn't go away it just got worse. So with a bit of research I decided that I would solder all the connections to the aftermarket HU wiring harness.

After laying everything out, going over all the wiring diagrams and making double sure I was connecting the correct wires together I soldered away. In no time at all I had a working product and in conjunction with the HU double checked everything, plugged it all in and turned it all on.

So almost a year still no smoke! Not for the faint of heart this product will challenge your install nerves as their is always a bit of doubt when making so many wiring connections. But considering my limited experience with similar projects and the results I got I'm pretty happy.

Provided a clean install and covered off every wire requirement that I had tying the aftermarket HU in seamlessly with the factory components. If your looking for a clean install and flexibility in replacing HU's in the future I'd highly recommend you try this product.
