perfect!

Loving this unit after shopping around for a year. I own the Xperia Z, which is fully compatible minus the ability to charge on the docking station, so I got the Z3 and it charges on the dock and everything else it's supposedto do. BT phone mic clarity is top notch and the audio features turned my stock speakers into something amazing. No need to buy new spkrs just yet!

Perfect For WRX!

Functions are everything you could ask for in an audio/video car stereo. No trip grounded switch to activiate video use. Just be sure to have rollover or unlimited data. Cost is on point, since everyone has a smartphone glued to his/her hand these days. Why pay for a separate display?! Love the secured dock; I own an iPhone 6 and use it in the Apple silicone case. Amazon has a few short USB to Lightning cables in black that will work well for under $10. Have to use the remote to enter settings menu. Must use supplied microphone, so be ready to navigate it through your console. Very easy install, after buying longer bolts from Lowes. Now, considering sub add on.

Just what I was looking for

I have seen some reviews where people say that it needs some work on the app side. Yes is true but what I was most interested in was the cradle and a communication (audio interface) to a cell phone. I have a note 4 and have to say it barely fits, this is absolutely the biggest phone width it will take (no case). The radio signal itself seems weaker than my stock JBL. And also some more buttons for radio and CD control would help on the front so it can operate better without a cell phone.

Bought for my daughter. She likes it but she has to connect ever time she drives.

Perfect stereo for me.

If you are like me and have all of your music contained within your smartphone (so that it is always with you) then why buy yet another device for playing it when all you need to do is simply connect to this stereo and let them become one! Mwahaha!

Not worth the time

The app is terrible, I want to send it back and get something else, just haven't had time yet. Delivery and service from your company was great, I like the concept behind this unit, but just doesn't live up to its description.

Best Gadget for your car

I spend a lot of time in a car and this Sony deck serves me well. Easy to use and blue-tooth feature works flawlessly. I love the fact that you can use smartphone apps, especially the Map, Nav app and much more from your phone. By far, this is the best hand-free product I have ever used.
At the same time you can watch movies, listen to music streaming from the web (do not use this feature while driving).

I love how your phone is the display so you can just use the navigation on it instead of paying hundreds of dollars to get a radio with navigation built in it.

Excellent with some issues

This is a great product. I've seen a couple problems: The bar that comes down to hold the phone in place does not hold very well, and the app could be better. Seeing as I don't really use either of these features much its really not a big deal for me but certainly would be for another. I generally stream for my Galaxy S5 with it still in my pocket. It'd be better for me if there were more controls on the front for when the phone is not there; especially, a button to answer an incoming call. If the phone is not in place you need to use the remote for this and if it has fallen on the floor board or is lost, you are SOL.

Great sound

This deck has fantastic sound out of the 5v RCA outputs. iPhone 6 plus fits with no or very thin case. I used a Dremel and cut the holder ever so slightly to keep an iPhone 6 plus with a case.. For the price, it can't be beat. Let's hope Sony updates the App, because it could be 100 times better.
