The Sony XSP-N1BT is no ordinary in-dash Bluetooth receiver. This double DIN stereo comes with a built-in smartphone cradle which allows you to use your smartphone as the display in your car. Not satisfied with your stereo's GPS? With this stereo design, you can use your favorite GPS navigation app, be it Apple Maps, Google Maps, Waze or any others, right on the faceplate of your car stereo! You will also have access to your favorite apps like Pandora Internet radio, iHeart Radio, Netflix and YouTube. All you need to do to get started is to download Sony's free, exclusive App Remote app to use your phone as your display. The App Remote app also enables voice control and notification readouts with Android devices. Emails, text messages or notifications from Twitter, Facebook or your calendar are automatically read aloud when received.
The XSP-N1BT accommodates nearly any smartphone including most iOS and Android devices, as well as the Sony Xperia of course! The built-in USB input allows you to keep any Apple or Android devices charged. Docking your device is simple, no matter if you are using an iPhone or Android smartphone. To dock your iPhone simply connect via USB, to dock your Android you may do so via USB or Bluetooth connection.
You can also use the XSP-N1BT as a standard CD car stereo without a smartphone. It also include built-in AM/FM radio, front and rear USB ports, and an input for a SiriusXM tuner.

Loving this unit after shopping around for a year. I own the Xperia Z, which is fully compatible minus the ability to charge on the docking station, so I got the Z3 and it charges on the dock and everything else it's supposedto do. BT phone mic clarity is top notch and the audio features turned my stock speakers into something amazing. No need to buy new spkrs just yet!

Perfect For WRX!
Functions are everything you could ask for in an audio/video car stereo. No trip grounded switch to activiate video use. Just be sure to have rollover or unlimited data. Cost is on point, since everyone has a smartphone glued to his/her hand these days. Why pay for a separate display?! Love the secured dock; I own an iPhone 6 and use it in the Apple silicone case. Amazon has a few short USB to Lightning cables in black that will work well for under $10. Have to use the remote to enter settings menu. Must use supplied microphone, so be ready to navigate it through your console. Very easy install, after buying longer bolts from Lowes. Now, considering sub add on.

Just what I was looking for
I have seen some reviews where people say that it needs some work on the app side. Yes is true but what I was most interested in was the cradle and a communication (audio interface) to a cell phone. I have a note 4 and have to say it barely fits, this is absolutely the biggest phone width it will take (no case). The radio signal itself seems weaker than my stock JBL. And also some more buttons for radio and CD control would help on the front so it can operate better without a cell phone.

Perfect stereo for me.
If you are like me and have all of your music contained within your smartphone (so that it is always with you) then why buy yet another device for playing it when all you need to do is simply connect to this stereo and let them become one! Mwahaha!

Not worth the time
The app is terrible, I want to send it back and get something else, just haven't had time yet. Delivery and service from your company was great, I like the concept behind this unit, but just doesn't live up to its description.

Best Gadget for your car
I spend a lot of time in a car and this Sony deck serves me well. Easy to use and blue-tooth feature works flawlessly. I love the fact that you can use smartphone apps, especially the Map, Nav app and much more from your phone. By far, this is the best hand-free product I have ever used.
At the same time you can watch movies, listen to music streaming from the web (do not use this feature while driving).
