Rob / Canada story bout these..

First subs I purchased were these. 2 of them... made a box for them tuned at 25hz it was 2.61 ft3 & 16" of port. They performed well with the high notes, n hit the lower notes a bit sloppier. Its obviously because of the lack of the dual voice coils. This sub is more for rock music i believe also i would place it inside a ported box you've built yourself. I still own them after beating on them for about 6-1/2 months i upgraded to COMP VRs. I am thinking about buying another two of these and walling off my trunk. The subs did okay overall and i would recommend them.

swell

if your looking to add a little bass these are great. your not going to turn heads by any means but if u hook em up right they will bang in a little car. i bought 2, put em in a sealed box and its enough to jam out to but it wont tickle your ears or vibrate your car apart. have em in a chrysler seabring and they sound great. simple to hook up and install as well. way better then the "sound storm" garbage i bought.

Very capable subwoofer

Installed in a 2006 s10 blazer in a .6 cft box run off RE DTS1000.1 @ 4ohm (amp also bought here).

Decent loudness, forcefulness of bass note changes were really impressive. Not the cleanest sounding sub, some notes muddle just a little the lower the bass gets. Overall pleased.

Highly Recommend for anyone wanting a starter-ish subwoofer.

WOW!

This is the little sub that can. Puts out way more than I ever imagined. I have two of these in my Wrangler, and the amount of bass is unbelievable!

Hits harder than I expected

This is a decent subwoofer. I paired it with a Sony amp that puts out 340 watts RMS, so it is almost a perfect match.
