Nice little amp
This is a nice little amp for the money. I was using it on two 10" Kicker CVT bridged and it didn't heat up.

someone gave me this little amp... im making a budget build just for the amp... after tuning it at work (i work in car audio) i got 300 rms at 4 ohms and no clipping... to tell the truth i didn't think it would sound so good wired up to a kicker comp 15 in a very big box... maybe its all the other things ive done to it but still... for a free amp im not going to say no

great product
This is one of the best amps I have ever used. It has a sleek compact design and various options for comnecting to the car audio. Plenty of power and all at a price that cant be beat.

SoundStorm EV2.1000
Exactly what I wanted when powering a 12"Kenwood. Using around half of the amps power in a 1.12 cu ft square box in the trunk of a late model Impala. Hits the sub hard sound 100% clean.
Cons:The supplied remote was worthless. I don't there's much difference no matter the setting.
None the less the remote wasn't installed. I'm absolute happy with the purchase overall..

an okay amp
i bought this amp installed it in Friday hooked up to 2 kicker comp 15's by 2-channel works fine.. but when i bridge them well the protection mode turns on. I may have just wired it wrong. Also the bass knob didn't work. Very disappointed but can't complain for the price. All in all i would recommend it to anyone.

hot hot
Excellent amp. Options very good. Great output. Second day using it to push 2 12" MTX Terminators and I set of a car alarm. Only problem is the heat. Its in a decently vented area and it gets hot fast. Excellent power if vented properly

Good when its working
This amp is the first amp i have bought before. i didnt know any better and decided to cheap out and give this thing a try. Great shipping, i got it two days later, but i had bought it from the manufacturer themselves and when it came to my house it wasn't fully functional. I wired it up and only one channel worked (and flickered every now and then), and the other channel didnt work at all. This is a visually pleasing amp but it only has one 25a fuse on it which means if it did work 100% there is no way this thing is pushing out more than 400w ( or less, i guess it is expected since this company is involved with boss audio). My advice, spend some more money and get an alpine mrp-m500 for a full 1000watts, or get a rockford fosgate p250 for equal performance

Great Value For The Price!
This is a great amp. It never overheated. The only bad thing is that the bass remote doesn't really work. Other than that it is a great amp!

Best Bump for the buck ;D
Purchased amp about 2 weeks ago. Just got to installing it in a 94 Camry. Have it bridged in series to two 12inch Dual subs at 2ohms in a ported enclosure. The sound quality is fantastic! The best part is how clean & tight the bass this amp is producing! Now I know it's an 80 dollar amp but rest assured it's money well spent. Highly recommend. You won't get any other 2 channel amp at this price with these awesome specs. SoundStorm has won me over as a long standing customer :D

SUPERB!
I was looking for a good amp for my subs, but I didn't want to pay too much, so one of my friends recommended this brand. I hadn't really heard of it before, but I took a look at it anyway. I compared it to some other amps and this thing puts out twice as much as amps that cost twice as much. So I ordered this amp, and it arrived extremely fast, like within 3 days with free shipping fast! I had never hooked up an amp before, so I had my friend help me with the hookup, and it went extremely smoothly, and it didn't take very long at all. When I got all the settings to how I wanted them I tried it out, and was very impressed. I have the amp powering two older kenwood subs (KFC-3005) in a sealed box that I made myself. I have the amp turned all the way down, and it makes my subs hit HARD! The adjustable bass boost remote knob is a great feature. I haven't noticed it getting even remotely hot so far. This thing makes my mirrors shake so much that I can event see out of them when I drive! I would definitely recommend this amp!

Great for the cost
This amp is great for the cost! Have had these for 7 months now with no issue. I'm pushing 2 x 10's with this amp and it performs like it should.

Some Pros and Significant Cons
This amplifier is very modestly priced, and sounds quite alright. Mine has never overheated or gone into protection mode, and I've been using it frequently and with vigor for over two years. A bit of shadiness on the manufacturer's part though: the product was far overrated when I bought it. I knew this after having done some math regarding manufacturer claims for RMS power( using ohm's law), but didn't mind due to the tight budget at the time. I waited so long to make the review because one of the main complaints from reviewers at my time of purchase was the durability. Mine has held up. Maybe the manufacturer isn't consistent and I got lucky, or others didn't install everything exactly right. Should work fine for anyone looking to beef up their audio system. But after having tested the amplifier with my newly purchased SMD DD-1 distortion detector, I discovered that given a perfectly clean signal, the amp puts out more than .01% THD at ALL gain levels. There is a very slightly noticeable difference in how music sounds through the amp, and If the gains are set conservatively, there should be no problems. But if you try and get the claimed poewr out of the amp using a mutimeter and ohm's law, then you will definitely be sending distorted signal to your components, which may cause quicker wear and perhaps malfunction. This hasn't happened to me, but assuming consistent manufacturing, everyone's speakers are in jeopardy if you push the amp to meet claimed power. Wish it had an infrasonic (often misnamed as subsonic) filter and perhaps lacked the bass boost feature, both for the sake of speaker well being and sound quality. Would recommend, but hesitantly. Better safe than sorry, perhaps look for a CEA-2006 certified amp if you're as picky and paranoid as me.
