Good amp

I would defintly recommend this amp. I have it hooked up to two 12" dual voice coil subs at 1 ohm and this amp supplys the watts. sounds great. pros are the remote gain control is very slick. very easy to set up and understand. it can run the full 1600 rms, i can feel my neck vibrating and every mirror in the car shakes like crazy. and this is in a car with a trunk not an open hatchback or suv. its rated that wattage at 14.4 volts so get a cap if u want all the watts u can :). Cons are one time when it was 90 degrees plus and humid it stopped due because it was to hot but it had been on for a good hour plus. but i didnt have any cooling fans like i do now and that never happend again. Overall great amp and for the price you cant go wrong.

Not recommended.

This amplifier is not as good as claimed by the manufacturer. I have it hooked up to a 15" RE Audio SEX-15D2 sub. It actually powers this sub decently because the sub is only (under-rated) 600W rms woofer. I do not believe the amp is 1600W rms at all. For example, it only has 50 amps worth of fuses, which indicates a true power rating of less than 500W rms.

After an hour drive this amp was almost scalding hot to the touch, and would periodically shut itself off. The gain was set very low during this time.
I am returning this amp and buying a more expensive one, because you get what you pay for with this one. The only reason to buy this amp is if you are okay with it performing a third as good as it claims to be.

Decent

I'm no expert on amps but this one seems to do the job perfectly. I purchased as a bundle deal with a boss sub and house brand box. It gets a little warm when pushed a bit but so far there have been no problems whatsoever.

Good Buy

No complaints here. I have it pushing 1 15" RF punch in a custom sealed box, and it powers it very well, my rearview mirror really shakes when it's turned up. I haven't had any trouble with it overheating even with the gain turned up, but I honestly only checked it a few times right after install. Guess we'll see how it does in the summer when it heats up. The remote is a nice touch too.

BAD AMP

Well, I brought Visonik amp and Boss Subwoofer as a combo. The amp gets so hot at points, and it's not a good one. I wouldn't recommend.

Strong Bass

Hook this up to some standard Absolute TR-1500 midrange subwoofers and your set. Very hard hitting. The kind of rumbling bass you hear beating down the block.
