Love these
These in-ears sound amazing. I don't use them on stage just for listening to music, but they really do sound amazing, the sound stage is very wide, and it has a good amount more bass than the am pro 20's. They make music i've listened to 100 times before, sound 100 times better. Great way to re-experience your favorite music. I just wish they weren't so expensive :'(

Legendary Westone sound, with a little of the outside world mixed in!
I would recommend the AM Pro 30s for anyone who would like to have a little less isolation than traditional IEMs offer. I am not a stage musician but I still find them useful. When the volume is turned up, most of the outside noise is masked. If you are on a busy street you may still hear something, but that's probably a good thing!
The only caveat I'll mention is that you can sometimes hear the wind against the "ports." I think the benefits outweigh that issue, but it would be nice if wind did not affect the sound. (It sounds similar to when wind hits a microphone.)
The build quality seems OK. I just had a pair of Westone W40s die on me 3 months after the 2-year warranty was up. Westone said they can no longer repair their products (!), so I was S.O.L. except for a measly 25% discount offer on a new pair. That offer only came with a partial warranty on the new pair so I opted to pay retail price and get the full warranty. I'm hoping the AM Pro 30s last as long as my original UM2s did! There are well-known issues with the MMCX connectors they use, and those are often the failure point -- such as with my W40s.
I only give 3 stars for value because I feel that Westone is charging way too much for what they consider to be a "disposable" item. $400+ earphones should carry a 5-year warranty and should be able to be repaired, IMO. I also wish they had included an iPhone control on the cable...I had to buy a third-party one. The included cable is excellent otherwise, though.
Overall I really like these. I like the Westone sound enough to buy another pair even though my last pair failed a lot earlier than expected. That should say something!
