AM PRO Series Triple Balanced Armature Driver In-Ear Monitors
• Triple Balanced Armature Drivers
• Left and Right Earpiece Responses are Matched to a +/- 3dB Tolerance
• Impedance: 56 ohm
• Proprietary SLED Technology
• True-Fit Technology

Until now performers have had to choose between a dedicated in-ear monitor mix or an ambient experience. Now, you can hear and feel the energy and input from the audience, fellow performers and the stage—together with the incredible audio clarity, frequency response, and punch that only a Westone In-Ear Musicians’ Monitor can provide. Traditional open vent ambient monitors compromise and degrade the frequency response of an in-ear monitor. With Westone’s exclusive SLED technology, you are in control of your musical environment. Enjoy full-range frequency response from your in-ear monitor signal, hear and feel your surroundings, and engage with fellow performers and your audience like never before. Recommended for on-stage monitoring and band practice.

Love these
These in-ears sound amazing. I don't use them on stage just for listening to music, but they really do sound amazing, the sound stage is very wide, and it has a good amount more bass than the am pro 20's. They make music i've listened to 100 times before, sound 100 times better. Great way to re-experience your favorite music. I just wish they weren't so expensive :'(

Legendary Westone sound, with a little of the outside world mixed in!
I would recommend the AM Pro 30s for anyone who would like to have a little less isolation than traditional IEMs offer. I am not a stage musician but I still find them useful. When the volume is turned up, most of the outside noise is masked. If you are on a busy street you may still hear something, but that's probably a good thing!
The only caveat I'll mention is that you can sometimes hear the wind against the "ports." I think the benefits outweigh that issue, but it would be nice if wind did not affect the sound. (It sounds similar to when wind hits a microphone.)
The build quality seems OK. I just had a pair of Westone W40s die on me 3 months after the 2-year warranty was up. Westone said they can no longer repair their products (!), so I was S.O.L. except for a measly 25% discount offer on a new pair. That offer only came with a partial warranty on the new pair so I opted to pay retail price and get the full warranty. I'm hoping the AM Pro 30s last as long as my original UM2s did! There are well-known issues with the MMCX connectors they use, and those are often the failure point -- such as with my W40s.
I only give 3 stars for value because I feel that Westone is charging way too much for what they consider to be a "disposable" item. $400+ earphones should carry a 5-year warranty and should be able to be repaired, IMO. I also wish they had included an iPhone control on the cable...I had to buy a third-party one. The included cable is excellent otherwise, though.
Overall I really like these. I like the Westone sound enough to buy another pair even though my last pair failed a lot earlier than expected. That should say something!
