Car Speakers are typically sold in pairs so you will receive 2 speakers for each speaker purchase on speakers marked "Priced Per Pair".
If a speaker is marked "Priced Per Each" then the speaker is sold individually and each purchase you make will result in 1 speaker. High-powered tweeters, midrange and full-range pro audio for car speakers are typically sold per each speaker.
Marine certified means that the unit has been designed and manufactured with a marine use in mind. It will withstand the harsh conditions that come from marine use. Generally, they are treated against UV rays and treated with special protective coatings.
Total RMS power is measured by multiplying RMS power per channel by the number of channels, and is calculated at the lowest level of operating impedance.
RMS power is the amount of continuous power, measured in watts, that an amplifier produces is called RMS power. The higher the RMS figure, the louder and cleaner your music sounds.
The RMS output figure is much more accurate than the peak rating when comparing products.
The total peak power output is measured as the wattage per channel multiplied by the number of channels, and is calculated at the lowest level of operating impedance.
It is measured during a brief musical burst, such as a sudden drum accent. Some manufacturers display peak power ratings on the face of their products to increase the appeal.
The RMS power rating is more accurate, and we recommend using it for product comparison.
Represents the style of the enclosure. Be sure to purchase the appropriate enclosure type and internal volume that will be compatible with your subwoofer's recommendation.
Sealed - Sealed boxes are those that have no holes or vents in it. The only hole in a sealed box is where the subwoofer is installed. Smaller sealed boxes require more power than a larger sealed box. They provide a tight, accurate bass, while the larger sealed enclosures provide a "boomier" and louder bass.
Ported / Vented - Ported/Vented Enclosures provide an even boomier, louder bass, but less accurate then a small, sealed box. Ported enclosures typically require more airspace per sub and also less power output from an amplifier to perform correctly.
Bandpass - Bandpass enclosures make subwoofers perform efficiently, but loose. The bass is not as "boomy" as a ported enclosure nor as punchy as a sealed enclosure. Bandpass enclosures work well with lower to mid-level subwoofers.
The material used on the outside of the box. Most boxes are carpeted to prevent exterior scratches; however vinyl is popular as it can often be color-matched to a near exact look of your leather factory interior.
This will indicate whether the item is compatible with mounting brackets and whether they are included in the initial purchase. Mounting brackets are typically used in attaching the speaker to a tower, however some mounting brackets allow the speaker to be attached to the deck of the boat.

There are many different types of ATV speaker systems, including:
Coaxial speakers: Coaxial speakers are the most common type of ATV speaker system. They have a tweeter and a woofer in the same speaker.
Component speakers: Component speakers have a separate tweeter, woofer, and crossover. This allows for better sound quality.
Subwoofers: Subwoofers are designed to produce low-frequency sounds, such as bass. They can add a lot of depth and power to your ATV speaker system.
Amps: Amps amplify the signal from your ATV's head unit to your speakers. They are essential for getting the most out of your ATV speaker system.
Wiring kits: Wiring kits are used to connect your ATV speaker system to your ATV's electrical system. They are essential for safe and secure installation.
There are a few factors to consider when choosing ATV speaker systems, including:
The size of your ATV: The size of your ATV will determine the size and power of the speaker system you need.
The type of music you listen to: If you listen to a lot of bass-heavy music, you will need a system with a subwoofer.
Your budget: ATV speaker systems can range in price from a few hundred dollars to a few thousand dollars. It is important to set a budget before you start shopping.
The installation process: If you are not comfortable installing the system yourself, you may need to hire a professional.
The warranty: Make sure the system you choose comes with a good warranty. This will protect you in case something goes wrong.
Installing ATV speaker systems can be a relatively simple process, but it is important to follow the manufacturer's instructions carefully. Here are the basic steps involved in installing ATV speaker systems:
Choose a location for the speakers. The speakers should be located in a place where they are not likely to be damaged.
Secure the speakers in place. The speakers should be secured in place to prevent them from moving around.
Connect the speakers to the amp. The speakers should be connected to the amp using speaker wire.
Connect the amp to the ATV's electrical system. The amp should be connected to the ATV's electrical system using a wiring kit.
Test the system. Once the system is installed, test it to make sure it is working properly.
ATV speaker systems are available at a variety of retailers, including ATV and UTV audio stores, electronics stores, and online retailers. When choosing a retailer, it is important to make sure that they offer a wide selection of products and that they have a good reputation for customer service.
All About ATV Speaker Systems
On-the-go audio equipment such as ATV speakers must be sturdy. These tube and handlebar speakers are waterproof or marine grade, meaning they can endure muck, wind, rain, and loud volumes. In contrast to their sturdiness, ATV speakers also have a simplified installation process thanks to their pre-packaged enclosures, allowing you to spend less time in the garage and more time on the trail. Thanks to built-in tweeters and amplifiers, there is no need for a stereo screen when listening to your music on your phone.
The ideal ATV speakers would be powerful enough to fill the cabin with crisp, clear sound while still being intuitive. A remote control makes it much easier to change the volume, skip tracks, pause, etc. With so many options for speakers, picking the best one will come down to your priorities in terms of features and sound quality.
The ATV speakers and components we stock here at Sonic Electronix come from industry leaders like JBL, Boss, Belva, Memphis, and many more. Rest assured that these Marine-Certified speakers are water-resistant and can withstand harsh conditions, including wind, rain, mud, and even salt air, without losing sound quality.
