Powered Subwoofer
This means that the home subwoofer is powered with a built-in amplifier. If it is not powered, than a separate amplifier is required.
Subwoofer Size
Refers to the diameter of the subwoofer, measured in inches.
RMS Power Handling
The RMS power is the amount of power the speaker requires to operate safely and properly. RMS Power Handling refers to the amount of power a speaker can handle on a continuous basis. We recommend powering your speakers or subwoofer with 80%-120% of its recommended RMS rating. The RMS power handling specification is typically rated per speaker unless otherwise noted.
Home Subwoofer Enclosure Type
This is the type of enclosure that the home subwoofer has. Different enclosures will vary in the sounds that they produce.

Bass Reflex: These enclosures are tuned top play louder than other types of enclosures. While the sound might not be as accurate, they are able to get louder when compared to other subwoofers with a similar amplifier.

Acoustic Suspension: These enclosures will produce an accurate bass. In comparison to a another type of subwoofer with a similar amplifier, a acoustic suspension subwoofer will not be as loud. However, the bass will be much more accurate and correct.

The color of the enclosure's exterior/outer finish.
