A great Remote for a Great Price!
I installed this in a '91 Alfa Romeo 164 so I knew I was on my own and my first installation. Overall it went well and I am very happy with the results:
Pros:
All components seem to be of high quality.
The remotes are small and comfortable.
The module is compact and fit neatly in the center console.
Works right out of the box!
2 push for the remote is a big safety plus IMHO.
Cons:
Manual was inconsistent and confusing. I had to guess at several points during the installation.
No tech support from the factory. I was really on my own.
I would have probably prefered the 4200 with separate lock/unlock buttons.
Overall I would highly recommend it to anyone has a pretty good knowledge of auto electronics and a rear good repair manual.
