The NVX VS-Series is the perfect subwoofer solution. Designed from the ground up, the series utilizes excellent engineering found in the higher end NVX subwoofers. It features a non pressed treated paper cone with a custom tooled and optimized PP dust cap. Keeping the cone under control is a high-roll foam surround that is specially treated to give you maximum excursion. The VSW152V2 uses a 2.5" high-temperature aluminum voice coil that provides maximum current distribution and has a power handling range of 600-750 watts RMS. The subwoofer also features a shorting ring which is a conductive aluminum ring placed in the air gap between the pole piece and the voice coil former to reduce inductance, which in turn reduces distortion and allows the subwoofer to accurately play a higher part of the bass spectrum. All of these elements combined produce tight, deep and accurate bass that is sought after by bass-heads and audiophiles. CEA-2031 Compliant: All CEA-2031 compliant loudspeakers adopt the same testing and measurement methods so comparing them side by side is easy. Loudspeakers include car speakers and subwoofers. The Consumer Electronics Association created new testing and measurement methods for mobile loudspeaker systems that define test procedures for rating the performance and physical size of speakers. This is important because you can now compare different speakers on the same playing field. Any manufacturers who adopt the CEA-2031 logo product mark can be compared evenly to other speaker manufacturers with the same mark.

Great looking design, huge rubber surround. Goes deep and gets loud in spec specific ported enclosure. Listed measurements are spot on. Takes power well, a perfect replacement for my VCW104 10" that I had sealed down firing into my carpet. If you cleanly power the VCW104 10" woofer, this replacement is a perfect solution to more bass - with a rms rating of 750rms you won't need to upgrade, replace or re-route anything (unless size is an issue) plug in, play, and tune. For my first 15" I couldn't be happier. Make this your first 15" subwoofer today!

NVX is the best!
About 6 months ago I bought a pair of 12" VCW's for my brothers car and they sounded so good that I had to get an NVX sub for my car. I installed it into a 2008 Chevy Trailblazer SS and holy cow was I blown away. I mostly listen to bass heavy music which is why I chose to go with the 15" instead of the 12" but I am so happy that I did because these things slam! Super clean, super durable and great price. Just make sure you pair it up with an amp that puts out 750 watts RMS to get the full effect. You will not be disappointed. Thanks Sonic! You guys rock.
