Pioneer Premier TS-D602P

Awesome sound, more bass than I ever thought from 6 1/2 inches!

I would recommend these speakers to anyone. I researched online for hours and decided these were the best for the money. They sound so rich and clear on the high and low side, its a dream!! I am only using 20W per channel JVC in addition. Bass will not blow the glass out of the car. but it will definitely add some boom and shake for such small speakers with no distortion. If you are looking for a very high quality sound in your car, this is a great choice! You will not regret getting these Pioneers!! In addition, they fit into my Honda Accord with very minor modifications (grinded off the tabs a bit). EASY!!

Very Detailed Coaxial

I have two pairs of these speakers in my 1999 Honda CRV. I purchased them because they fit the pre-cut factory speaker mounts in the front doors and rear without much modification as well as the fact that they are a very good speaker in the price range. The tweeters are beautifly detailed but can be a bit harsh and piercing with some recordings. I have balanced this problem out with EQ. The midrange section is extremely tight and vocals, guitars, toms and crashes are stunning. The staging of sound from these speakers is phenomenal. I could not believe how spacious and tight the sound was. I look forward to buying an amp to correctly power these.

Awesome sound!!!!!!!!!!

I have these speakers hooked up to a pioneer 4 ch amp (prs-d4200f), together with a pair of ts-902p . Also a 12 inch sub (ts-w3002d4) with a 1000 watts mono amp (prs-d1200spl) and controlling it with an avic 90bt, it's sounds amazing!!!!! The detail on the mids and highs on these speakers are so crisp while adding great depth with the sub. Overall I would recommend these to anybody!!!!!! PS my entire sound system is pioneer premier, all hooked up on a 2001 Honda Accord Coupe EX

Cant get better for the money!

These are definitely some of the best speakers I've ever owned. I've only got them hooked up to a Premier deck, no amp, and with the 4in in the front and 6.5's in back it sounds amazing. Gets very loud, too loud for most peoples liking, without distorting. It doesn't seem to handle bass as well as I'd hoped, but I'm guessing it's only because of the design of my old 89 Corolla GTS. In a newer car with better enclosures I'm sure they'd sound even better. I really want to throw an amp on these bad boys and hear how they sound. But for real, with pretty much any kind of music they just scream, very nice mids and highs. For the money, I don't think you could get better. Pioneer Premier FTW!

sweeeeet!

I was pumping 125W of clean power into these for a few months, with an 80Hz high pass filter. flawless perfomance. They filled my car with amazingly clear sound all throughout the frequency range. They seem much more efficient and durable than the alpine type r's that i tried out. They provide such darn clear highs, it's unbelievable.

good sound

Good sound for the highs. I think these speakers require a sub if you like bass, as they do not put out much on their own. The sound otherwise is great, a quality speaker for people with hi-fidelity needs.

Awesome

I bought 1 set of these and another set of 6x8s for my car and I love the clarity. They need a lot of power though so i hooked them all up to a Sony 4ch 600 watt amp and it sounds like a concert in my car. I also have two alpine type R subs and an alpine deck. The combination is superb and these speakers really complement my system. I love em. I will definitely buy from sonic electronix again.

Impressive

To be a coax driver, it sounds really nice, never try to drive any speaker with a headunit especially these, inefficent and power hungry, all and all i liked them, easy to use, could find some better sounding components for the money though.
