The XS-GSW101 is a 10" Single Voice Coil subwoofer driver intended to deliver larger, yet controlled, boomy bass. Its large surface area allows awesome air displacement to reach fantastically low frequencies. It accomplishes this through maximized overall build quality, delivering a solid 450 watts RMS with an excursion peaking at 6.4mm. In addition, the XS-GSW101 has a very respectable frequency response of 25 - 500 Hz, making it very easy to blend (crossover) into your full-range stage.

Premium Sound Requires A Premium Build

The XS-GSW101 single voice coil subwoofer driver cone is constructed using a mica reinforced cellular (MRC) honeycomb design for reduced weight and increased rigidity, delivering deep bass response. A subwoofer's cone can naturally bend and warp due to the force exerted by the motor of the driver. If allowed, the sound produced is inaccurate and poor quality. The XS-GSW121 is engineered to counteract this, thereby delivering superb response.

Motor Design for Outstanding Output

The XS-GSW101 woofer uses a powerful, high-energy ferrite magnet to control cone travel and deliver outstanding power handling. The XS-GSW101 subwoofer is CEA 2031 rated for 450 watts, 350 Watts RMS and can handle peak power of 1,800 watts. This more-than-middling figure makes the XS-GSW101 perfect for a system starving for low end bass output. 450 Watts RMS won't shake a vehicle, but bring life to an otherwise bland audio system and deliver that thump we all love.

Maximize Power Delivery

The XS-GSW101 gold-plated, spring-loaded binding posts provide secure wire connections for high power handling. These terminals are capable of accepting a 10-gauge speaker wire to maximize power delivery - or more wattage, if you prefer - and performance. By accepting a slightly larger wire than most traditional 10" drivers, the XS-GSW101 is able to deliver more power than some other 10" subs. Moreover, the gaps in the stamped steel frame allow the driver to breathe, greatly reducing the risk of burning out the subwoofer's motor.
