On the face of things, the HippoXL64 has a Kevlar Fiber reinforced, non-pressed paper cone, which provides a natural tone and great cone rigidity for clean bass notes. Amazing performance for a 6.5" speaker
I just had two of these installed in my 2009 chevrolet crew cab pickup yesterday and I am pushing everything with a Sundown Audio 1100.5 amp which puts 800 watts to these two speakers. I cannot believe what these sound like. The guys at the shop that installed it were in disbelief as well. Its amazing what the can do.

Highly recommend these subs. I got a custom box made for mine and it pounds. The only thing I might consider changing would be the direct leads.
