The P3S-1X12 sealed enclosure was designed specifically to fit in the space behind many regular truck cab seats. It comes preloaded with a single 12" Punch Stage 3 shallow dual voice coil subwoofer that can handle up to 400 watts RMS. The enclosure is wired to a low 1-ohm final impedance. It will drive your amp to its maximum. Just make sure you pair it with a 1-ohm stable amplifier. If you're looking to save or have minimal space, Rockford Fosgate's Punch PBR300X1 amp is a perfect match for this enclosure, generating 300 watts RMS at 1 ohm. The enclosure is constructed with 1/2" medium density fiberboard covered with heavy-duty carpet.
The P3SD2-12 Punch Series 12" Shallow-Mount Subwoofer has a peak power rating of 800 watts and a RMS rating of 400 watts. It is capable of producing some earth shaking bass and is constructed with an anodized aluminum cone and a vertical attach surround technique. This woofer is also equipped with a 2-1/2" Voice coil and a protective PVC textured magnet cover. Rockford Fosgate understands all vehicles are not the same, because some cannot accommodate deep subwoofers. In the past, that meant no Bass. Not anymore! Now even depth challenged vehicles can have REAL Bass and the Dual Voice Coil allow configurations for every application.
Anodized Aluminum Voice Coil Former
By using an anodized aluminum voice coil former on their subwoofers, Rockford Fosgate is able to dissipate heat from the voice coil more efficiently. A hot voice coil can melt the adhesive bonds, which will lead to eventual subwoofer failure. The aluminum voice coil former acts as a heat-sink to dissipate thermal build-up on the voice coil cool during high SPL conditions.
Conforms to CEA-2031
Rockford Fosgate has built this subwoofer to conform to the CEA-2031 loudspeaker power handling industry standards. This means that you can trust the subwoofer to have the capacity to safely handle the continuous (RMS) power rating. Having a CEA-2031 power handling is important when matching a subwoofer to an amplifier because the power ratings are accurate.
Stitched Tinsel Leads
To improve the reliability and performance by reducing fatigue and possible shorting, Rockford Fosgate has stitched the tinsel leads to the spider. The multipoint periodic stitching lead wires reduce the mass of the tinsel leads to spread the stress over a greater area. This improves the reliability and performance of the subwoofer.
VAST: Vertical Attach Surround Technique
In order to increase the surface area of the cone without causing any installation issues, Rockford Fosgate designed the Vertical Attach Surround Technique (VAST). By redesigning the manner in which the surround adheres to the basket, these speakers gain up to 25% more effective radiating cone area. This improves the nominal efficiency and maximum output.

Great Sub for Small Space!
I purchased this sub along with the RF PBR300X1 amplifier to go into my 2005 Ford Ranger XLT Regular Cab. This sub is a fantastic starter subwoofer for someone who is short on space! The amplifier with the optional RF PEQ bass knob pushes this sub to its MAX! Not to mention that is wired down to a one ohm impedance. Also got the Kicker DPK10 amplifier kit to match. This sub makes good lows (this is not a sub for HUGE curb-busting, roof-flexing, glass-shattering bass), but it sure as heck does it's job on the lows. I could have exceeded the RMS but decided for a first system, I would match. In closing, are you looking for a good sub in a pre-fab enclosure, simply plug and play? Then put it in the CART!

Excelent P/U Tundra Crew Cab Box
Sounds EXCELLENT!!! I have tried about 4 different combos in my trucck and this is by far the best. It is so small that it barely takes up any room behind the rear seat. I loose maybe 1" of seat adjustment. I could not find a box this thin!

I like RF products and have owned many over the years. This is not one of their high end products, but it fits perfectly with the price point. As long as you have the right expectation level, this subwoofer will do what it is intended. The overall fit/ finish/materials/looks is very good. I would recommend this product for a solid foundation to a great sounding midrange level system.
