These cameras are incredibly versatile and can be mounted in nearly any situation. Corresponding with their names, the XC5N1 comes with five different mounting options in the box, while the XC4N1 comes with four. These cameras are the first of their kind. Most other backup cameras limit you with the number of ways you can actually mount the camera. At NVX, we understand that not every application is going to be the same. Therefore, we wanted to give our customers the ability to install their camera the way they want.
These cameras are IP68 rated, meaning that they are fully dustproof and waterproof, they can even be fully submerged in water up to one meter for 30 minutes. Therefore, these cameras can easily withstand nearly anything you throw at it. You will never have to worry about your camera out in the rain or in strong winds.
Some other rearview cameras have a very narrow field of view and you can only see what is directly what is behind you. These cameras have an ultra-wide 170° viewing angle that truly allows you to see everything that is behind your vehicle. Both of these cameras offer a clear resolution of 720 x 480, unlike other cheap backup cameras that oftentimes make it difficult to be able to even discern one object from the next.
These cameras also have available color parking guidelines that help you understand the distance between your vehicle and any obstacles behind you. There is also a penetrating fog function that allows you to see what is behind you even in difficult visibility conditions such as fog.
These cameras thrive where others fail. The XC5N1 & XC4N1 both have an incredibly low illumination level at 0.08 Lux. That means you will be able to use your camera in incredibly low light situations, even at night.
