wow
I just finished installing this amp after days of electrical upgrades and testing with my lanzar 4k just to see if I could hold good voltage and break in my sq hdc3 15s in the new 11 CU ft box tuned to 31 Hz. The first thing I noticed was that the low notes were way stronger and absolutely everything is flexing and bouncing stuff out of my center console. It is a much cleaner amp than the lanzar 4k and with voltage makes enough power to distort my subs but thats probably because they're not even close to broke in after about a month of use, still stiff as he'll. I did a lot of research before I bought this beast and sonic was great getting it to me fast. Too bad it was way too cold here to install until today and it was icy as helll trying to do all the crazy wiring required for such a big amp. Be prepared to do the same and spend a lot on batteries and alternators if you're thinking of buying this beast.

John From Dark Horse Car Audio. May I suggest Mechman or DC Power Alternators for the 16 to 18 volts you need to hit the 10,000 watts. There are many battery manufacturers that can also deliver the 16 volts needed to hit 10k. Even at lower voltages its a great amp. Will not hit the full 10k below 16 volts but still a great bargain for dollars to watts. Really stable and a bargain at this price. Done my homework. Would recommend it to anyone. Most amplifier manufacturers rate power at high voltages so be careful no matter what amplifier you buy.

This amp will produce its rated power "IF".... and that is a very big if you can give it what it needs. It is rated for that output on 16 volts not 12 or 14.4 like most other amps on the market. And you MUST have it wired at .5 ohms that is 1/2 Ohms. Along with 1200 amps of power consumption. That puts any idea of using factory charging systems out the window. DO YOUR HOMEWORK boys and girls this amp is for the serious person not your everyday bass head. Great power for the price. Good luck not breaking your windows with this bad boy.

I have two of these bad boy's. one is powering 4 alpine 15" type R in a 06 dodge ram quad cab and it hitting 156.8 db. @ 30 hertz. you need a upgrade mechman alternator and at least 4 extra batteries. warning anything below 12 volts will kill this amp. do not buy this amp and run it an a factor alternator, it will die. Very good, durable, and easy to install. Use at least 1/0 cable for power.

This thing will never hit 10,000 watts unless lightning hits it! Very powerful though, you can get around 6,000 good watts around 1ohm if you have the rite batteries, wiring and alternator. Dollar for dollar i like this amp a buddy has it. Has 12 alpine subs wired to it in a suburban. Personelly im a fosgate amp guy but this thing sounds great for how much power it can produce. Gona need alot of 0guage and beefy connectors, just a heads up.

I own two of these amplifiers and own Dark Horse Car Audio. With good voltage it will hit 10,000 watts easily. That means alternators and several batteries. I have owned and run them in my car for years now without a single problem. I would recommend them to anyone looking for big power at a reasonable price. One of the few amps of this size that will work under 14 volts and not self destruct. I've pulled them down to eleven volts with car off and still no issues. Very solid amplifier.

Need lots of power to run this amp. Be careful, read up on this amp before you buy. I have this on 4 re-xxx 18's all it did was clip every time. I turned it up until I got the right power to it.(needs lots of power)
