Good for mp3
I bought this stereo because of the price. It works fine not a bad stereo at all. Good overall except for the volume knob is very sensitive. If you are trying to turn up/down the volume sometimes it goes into your EQ; reason being that when you press the volume down it goes to EQ mode. But when your driving its hard so its best to just use the wireless remote. Otherwise its a good stereo and I would recommend it to anybody because its GREAT for the price.

Its ok
Its most likely 50 watts max and 25 watts rms..the sound qualitys crisp but not near good .if you have 3 way speakers this head unit wont have enough juice. I say its 80 dollars for a reason.. sound processor isn't that great vs an alpine. its the best looking cheap radio around but if you want deep bass even out of speakers your not gonna get it from this .

Best Service From Sonic!
I got mine delivered right on time. I was going to get it from a chain store (PC R******) & i had to pay extra for the harnesses. I came here to Sonic, got my ScoscheTA2154B & Ta02B for free, and free ground shipping for $80! I haven't installed it yet, but everything was fine, product came in perfect condition. I will Re-review it once i get it up and running. Sonic Electronix is the best, don't second doubt them.
Hey you can't go wrong with $80 bucks!

Great sound, odd controls
I was looking for a simple, minimalist deck, and this one suits quite well. The sound quality is really phenomenal!
The controls are a bit odd to get used to. It is easy to accidentally bump the volume knob when trying to adjust volume, and end up adjusting EQ presets. Adjusting some details of the deck's settings (and there are lots to play with) requires pressing a couple different buttons to get at different menus. I find it frustrating and non-intuitive. The lighting is just a touch too bright compared to the rest of my dash, and while the dimness is adjustable, it's not quite enough and only dims the screen - not the rest of the lights.
When fiddling with settings (such as preset EQ), the display does not automatically exit until an "other" button is pressed - one more added step.
On the other hand, it is a very feature-packed yet minimalist-appearing deck.

Kenwood is the best
My cousin installed a stereo like this one in his 1500 chevy and it works and sounds awesome. The sound is so crisp... I truly recommend this stereo, it's affordable. the usb direct control is an absolutely great feature... so for everyone who doesn't like carrying all those cd's... the usb fixes the problem.

Nice Little Receiver
I like this Kenwood a lot. I put in my girlfriend's 2003 Matrix, and it is a good complement for the red illuminated gauges. Sound quality is excellent, adjustments are pretty straight forward, but plentiful, and the price was great. The only thing that has bugged me about it is that the display tends to wash out in really bright sunlight. For that trade off and the price, it is worth it - great features and a perfect match for the car it was going in.
