Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

What is the difference between the two ports?

USB-C (PD) port is designed for ultra-fast charging of modern iPhones and Androids, while the USB-A (QC 3.0) port supports Qualcomm fast charging. Both ports can charge simultaneously at high speeds without one slowing down the other.

The voltmeter is showing 14.4V. Is my battery overcharging?

No. This is the standard output of a healthy alternator while the engine is running. If the reading exceeds 15V or drops below 12V while driving, it’s a solution-based indicator that your charging system or battery needs a professional inspection.

My phone is charging slowly on the USB-C port. Why?

Power Delivery requires a USB-C to USB-C cable (or USB-C to Lightning) rated for PD. Using a low-quality adapter or an old cable will throttle the speed. Upgrade to an NVX XUCCM2 cable to unlock the full 18W-30W charging potential.

Is the XQC303 waterproof?

It is IP66 water-resistant, meaning it handles powerful splashes and heavy rain. It is not submersible. The rubber cap must be firmly seated when not in use to protect the sensitive USB-C internal pins from salt air and moisture.

Can I install this in a 24V truck or RV?

Yes. The XQC303 is compatible with both 12V and 24V DC systems. The voltmeter will automatically adjust its range to match. For 24V systems, ensure your accessory fuses are rated appropriately for the higher voltage to prevent circuit damage.
