Designed specifically for installations where space is at a premium—such as under-seat enclosures or tight door panels—this driver delivers an authoritative bass response that defies its compact dimensions. By utilizing a blacked-out SoloKon polypropylene cone and an improved Santoprene surround with signature red double stitching, the 48CWRT672 maintains exceptional tonal accuracy and structural integrity even during high-excursion performance.
Thermal management is a critical feature of this thin-mount driver. It incorporates Kicker’s Forced-Air Cooling technology, allowing the subwoofer to operate 20% cooler by using the cone’s own motion to circulate air through the motor structure. With a mounting depth of less than three inches and a Dual 2-Ohm Voice Coil (DVC) configuration, this transducer offers the system-building flexibility required for sophisticated, space-saving high-fidelity installations.
