The Victor Fitness VTBBKS is another high quality belt in our weightlifting performance belt line. For daily training this is the perfect belt! This top grain leather belt has been made with the most desirable part of the hide because it is strong enough to withstand years of use but also flexible enough to wear during any weightlifting session. Additionally, our belts are made from vegetable tanned leather which is a prehistoric technique used some 5,000 years ago. This process doesn't require any type of synthetic coating so it’s an environmentally-friendly method of production which can take from 30 to 60 days. It allows the leather to develop a patina over time so the belt won’t crack or flake and thus have a very long lifespan. This style features extra cushion along the inner surface for extra reinforcement to avoid any injuries. The belt is tapered towards the front going from 6 inches to 2.5 inches to give better forward mobility when weightlifiting. At 10mm thickness, it offers the support needed to weightlift yet it’s also flexible and comfortable upon initial use. All three layers are glued together and double stitched to ensure intense workouts over a long period of time. The inner layer is lined with soft suede to give the belt a good tactile grip against your clothing to prevent slipping. Simple product, works well
Though it is weird that I ended up buying a weightlifting belt on a car audio site, I got it last week and took it straight to the gym to test it out. It was a little rigid the first day but it is leather so there's probably a break in period. It did what I needed it to do, held up strong and the double prong held me in during my lift. So far so good!
