Infinity’s latest Reference subwoofers offer incredible installation flexibility. Their low-profile design allows them to fit perfectly into even the most shallow of enclosure. Polypropylene woofer cones deliver exceptional bass response at frequencies as low as 27Hz. But what makes these subs really stand out is their Harman-proprietary SSITM (Selectable Smart Impedance), which allows the subwoofer to present the amplifier with either a 2 or 4 ohm load at the flip of a switch.

Great value
The sub box is compact and clean looking. Fit great in my boat. Highly recommend.

Pairing this Sub with Infinity Kappa Perfect 500 3-way system, because I heard great reviews on this combo. Unfortunately, my taste for deep low end is a little more than what this subwoofer has to offer. If you are placing this speaker in say a regular cab truck right behind the seat. And say don’t want too much bass in your face, and you would like a little rumble, than this is a great choice. I do like the fact that you can change the ohms with a switch of a button. Unfortunately that switch is located on back of the sub, so you must remove the speaker completely to make that change. Would have been nice if it was somehow located outside the box. All things said, If you want plenty of bass and don’t have much room I would recommend checking out JL Audio’s 10” Shallow mount Sub: 10TW3-D4. Sonic Electronix has great pricing and wonderful staff. Nothing wrong there.

This box is built right and is high quality. I have a kicker 10 compRT in the box and it thumps hard. For anyone looking for a good single 10 enclosed box then I would highly recommend buying this one.

I have 2 of these in a 0.8 cu. ft box powered by the sub channel of the NVX 5 channel amp (about 220 watts to each).
I am really surprised by the low end extension of these subs. The song "welcome to the machine" by Pink Floyd rattles the crap out of the interior panels of my car. You can actually hear and FEEL the different articulation of the synthesized beginning.
The sound quality, and the volume of sound are spot on for me.
We have thrown everything at these subs, from Dying Fetus to Infected Mushroom, and have yet to be disappointed. They handle lightning fast double kick flurries, as well as fat and low electronic tones.
There are a couple of nitpicky items though.
The cut out diameter is not the same as most other 10" subs. Nothing a jigsaw and/or sander can't fix if you purchase a prefab box.
The impedance switch can be moved when inserting the sub in the box if you aren't careful. It is rather close to the edge of the speaker and can easily be bumped when sliding the speaker in.
These 2 10s powered with about 220 watts each, paired with 2 pairs of Infinity 6.5" coax (each of those getting about 100 watts a piece) makes for a pleasant listening experience.
Granted, this is not your wake the dead ground pounder, but you wouldn't be reading a review for 10s if that's what you are after.

This is the same as the JBL club 10"shallow mount. I wanted the infinity name on it. You can't go wrong with this sub. It sounds amazing in a .51ci box. If you tight on space just get it. You know you want it.

I have two of these and they sound great not as much bass as a 12in but seems to be more crisp

I have 2 of these in a 1.0 cu ft box in the back of my truck. For the money I am more than satisfied. I have 300w rms going to each one and they just keep suprising me everytime I turn it up. I pared these with the Infinity Kappa Perfect 600's...the detail and clarity is just amazing. Definitely worth a look if you have a space restricted install and want good bang for the buck.
