N Series Version 3 subwoofers cater to the need for high quality sound at a more affordable price. With this, NVX redefined what an entry-level sub should be, and setting up the standard in sound quality for value-driven car audio beginners.
That 90oz magnet is the sub's muscle. It provides the force needed for the 10.5mm excursion. It ensures the sub doesn't sound thin like other budget 8" subs. It gives you real, physical impact you can feel in your seat.
For best results, pair the NSW84v3 with an aftermarket amplifier that supports 400W RMS power. Parallel those dual 2-ohm voice coils to drop the load to 1-ohm and maximize the amp's potential.
Not recommended. With its specs, it needs the "air spring" of a box to stay controlled. Running it free-air will cause it to "bottom out" and damage the suspension. Give it a small box for the best (and safest) sound.
Not at all. The enhanced paper cone means it is treated with a moisture-resistant coating. It keeps the warm sound of paper but adds the durability needed to survive in a car door or trunk without warping.
