Could not get many FM stations and no AM stations. The manufacturers need to come up with better antenna connections. Had to buy an XM tuner so I could get stations with talk, sports etc. The guy at Best Buy blamed it on the antenna and said that is the way of the new cars.

I have an early 2010 Hyundai Elantra Blue This adapter fit perfectly and works well with my head unit (Pioneer DEH-X8700BH). Even though the connection is for the defroster antenna it works pretty well when picking up HD-Radio in the Houston area. The signal could be better but that's a problem with the antenna itself and not the adapter.
Be forewarned, there's another adapter that connects both the defroster antenna and the XM (shark fin) antenna, This particular adapter (Scosche KAAB) is not needed for the Blue and earlier high end models since they utilize a different connection for the XM radio, though it may be needed for the other high end models (i.e.: touring). Do your homework and call in to make your order if the website's system doesn't show you the adapter that is properly needed for your vehicle.

Product was delivered on time. It was not necessary for my 2009 Accent 3rd L trim. Factory antenna connector in my model was already correct. If you have a 2009 Accent with non-upgraded stereo system, you probably don't need this part.

This was incompatible with Hyundai double type antenna, see photo (see photo of vehicle antenna harness: http://i.imgur.com/LP6estW.jpg)
This adapter was the one recommended by Metra website.
As a result, I had to detach vehicle antenna harness from plastic double connector, connect it to adapter and secure with electrical tape.
Not impressed !
Should have ordered Metra 40-KI30 if I had known it exists (Metra: http://www.metraonline.com/part/40-KI30 Sonic: http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_13347_Metra-40-KI30.html
