Eliminate Voltage Drop

These Smart Battery Isolators are designed specifically for use in multi-battery applications. The XSBi series of isolators primarily monitors the main starter battery voltage. Once the starter battery voltage reaches 13.2 volts, the solenoid automatically connects the auxiliary battery to the charging system. When the whole system drops below 12.7 volts, the solenoid opens and isolates the starter battery from the auxiliary battery. This ensures you should never have a drained starter battery again.

Lengthen the Life of Your Batteries

These smart battery Isolators also help lengthen the life of your starter battery. When two-vehicle batteries are wired in parallel they have a tendency to charge and drain one another. All relays disconnect the batteries when the engine is turned off. This prevents excessive wear and lengthens the life of the batteries. When you turn your engine back on, the batteries will be connected without any voltage drop to the second battery.

Upgrade Nearly Any Ride

This smart isolator is a must when adding a second battery to your vehicle. In your car, you might be looking to add a second battery when installing a competition-grade amplifier. High power output amplifiers require a lot of power from your charging system. Upgrading it with a second battery will be a necessary addition to your car. For UTVs and ATVs, their batteries are too small to power any additional accessories like stereos and speakers. Therefore, if you want to add those additional accessories you will need an additional battery as well. Manual Override Switch Included

The NVX XSBi Series includes a manual override function that allows you to disconnect or link the two batteries with the push of a button. This is necessary for emergency situations like jump-starting your vehicle. In this case, you would want to use the override function to manually disconnect the batteries from one another so you could just power the main battery to start your vehicle.
