Its primary function is to convert the high-level speaker output signal from the factory radio into a low-level RCA signal that amplifiers require. Additionally, it features a gain level adjustment for fine-tuning the output, providing a maximum unclipped output of 5.0 volts across a wide 10 - 40000 Hz frequency response.
