Why does my 2021 Tesla Model 3 have no bass after installing these?

Check your phase if one 6x9 moves "in" while the other moves "out," the bass cancels. Swap the (+) and (-) wires on only one speaker. If the bass suddenly "wakes up," you just fixed a wiring phase issue.

How do I mount these in a rear deck without them rattling?

6x9s move a lot of air. Use NVX 90-mil sound deadener on the rear deck metal. This adds mass to the sheet metal so you hear the music instead of a "clanking" trunk rattle. It makes the bass sound much tighter.

What is the "blue wire" for on my harness, and do I need it?

That is the Remote Turn-on. It tells your amplifier to wake up when the radio turns on. If you don't connect it, your amp (and these speakers) won't make a sound, even if the radio screen is lit up.

Why is only one speaker working on my 2-channel amp?

Swap the RCAs at the amp. If the silence moves to the other side, the cable or radio is the issue. If the same speaker is still silent, check the wiring from the amp to the door. It's the fastest way to troubleshoot.

I hear some distortion at higher volumes. Is that normal?

Distortion often comes from clipping at the head unit. Lower the bass boost slightly or consider an NVX amplifier to provide cleaner power to the speakers.
