I installed these in my dash and they sound quiet or muffled. How do I fix this?

Check your crossover settings! These are dedicated midranges (200Hz-18kHz), not full-range speakers. If your amp is still sending them a "High Pass" signal intended for tweeters (above 5kHz), you’re missing 80% of the music.

The speaker fits the hole, but I can't get the screws to line up. Is there a solution for this?

Use the included NVX multi-fit adapter brackets. They are designed to snap or bolt into factory locations for Toyota, GM, and Chrysler. If the fit is still tight, use a thin foam gasket to level the mount.

I hear a "popping" or "clacking" sound when the volume goes up. How do I stop it?

You're sending too much bass to a small 3.5" cone. Set your High Pass Filter (HPF) to at least 200Hz. This prevents the carbon fiber cone from over-extending, which stops the mechanical noise and saves the neodymium motor.

My Tesla/Jeep system has "thin" sound after swapping to these. What did I miss?

This is usually a phase issue. Swap the (+) and (-) wires on only one side. If the speakers are "out of phase," they cancel each other out. Flipping one side will instantly bring back the warm midrange and vocal clarity you expect.

There's a constant "hissing" coming from these dash speakers. How do I kill the noise?

If your amp "Gain" is set too high, you'll hear the system's electrical noise. Turn the amp gain down and your radio volume up. Also, ensure your RCA cables are shielded and away from main power wires.
