The Re-Cone Assembly consists of a pre-assembled cone, surround, and voice coil that will be bolted into the L7X motor and Basket Assembly, assuring perfect cone and voice-coil alignment. Because there is no glue utilized in the recone process, the cone can be replaced in minutes if failure occurs in the field. Alignment shims are included. Recones only work with same subwoofer impedances; this 2-ohm kit pairs only with the 2-ohm L7X15.
