NE81S is better for audiophiles who want a tight but not forceful bass. Like other sealed enclosures, NE81S is quite smaller so it would save some space in your car. However, if you really want an earth-shattering low-end, go ahead with NE81P instead.
We don't recommend it especially because the cutout diameter of your 8" sub wouldn't work with the NE101S's 9.25" cutout diameter. NE81S is already enough to cover various 8" subwoofers.
Yes. This 0.45 cu. ft. box is incredibly compact. It's the right choice for adding musical low-end to a daily driver while still leaving plenty of room for groceries, a spare tire, or your gym bag.
We don't recommend. NVX includes just enough to help the box act about 15-20% larger sound-wise. Adding too much can actually choke the sub's movement. Only add more if your sub's specs significantly exceed the box's actual internal volume.
It’s for durability and fitment. Sharp MDF corners under carpet are prone to bruising or chipping during installation. Rounded edges prevent the carpet from tearing and make it much easier to slide the box into tight trunk gaps.
