Works as Advertised

I use the LG AN-WF100 to link my LG TV with my home wireless network system and it works great! It enables me to use the LG's Web features perfectly.

Needs better range

Tv is about 35 feet from the router and it picks it up sometimes and sometimes not. Seems to work ok when it does pick up.

LG AN-WF100

This is really easy to use and i would recommend for people who wants to use their TV for more than just watching TV programs.

My brother uses the TV to surf Youtube videos, twitter and many more thanks to the wifi adaptor.

LG AN-WF100 - so slow....

The main issue with this product is the limited bandwith this wireless device has. Where my XBox 360 has no problem displaying movies from my upstairs computer, using this wireless device ends up with long (approx 5 minute), pauses whilst it buffers. Also, the built in internet connections on the TV (Youtube etc), are slow. Considering that the main function of this device is wireless connectivity, it scores low because it is too slow to be of any real use. LG support in the UK said an engineer would call me back to run through some set-up options, but nobody ever got in touch...thanks!

Enables fast streaming video

My new LG LED TV came with the capability to connect to the internet. However it did not come with the USB adaptor to make it happen. The LG AN-WF100 is plug and play with the TV. I have Verizon FIOS for my internet and wifi connections. The USB adaptor connects quickly to the internet and offers access to several places on the internet using Netcast. I believe Netcast is a function of the TV firmware (which also updates itself using the LG adaptor. I have used Netflix several times. The streaming movies are delivered with excellent quality and without any problems. This is made possible with the LG USB adaptor and a fast internet connection via FIOS
