Each speaker has a carbon graphite-filled polypropylene cone. They're stiff, to allow full pistonic motion. But they're also very light for fast transient response. The result? Impact! Tight kick drums and snare drums with snap.
Each speaker also has a polyether foam surround that can withstand years of sunlight. The polyether foam surround is also great because its low mass gives you very high efficiency.
If you happen to enjoy raging, screaming lead guitars you'll definitely love the titanium-composition polyester dome tweeters included. Cerwin-Vega tweeters give you clear, sharp detail up to 20,000 Hertz. With generously wide dispersion. So no matter where you sit, it's a front row seat.
