Lava Lite Traffic Light

Good value; bright and attractive.

Clean lines. Looks like a real traffic signal.
Made to hang either vertically or horizontally, and has soft feet as well to stand on your table or bookcase. The fact that it can be battery OR transformer driven could be a boon to people who want this attention getter to function outdoors. I had to find a transformer (without too much power) so I would not be replacing batteries.

You may wish that it DID flash randomly, but it flashes realistically in a regular boring sequence through the colors. I had to modify it so it would be more like a real traffic signal, and first in the sequence would be Green, then Yellow; instead it came to me with Red first, and then Yellow. This may be a "random" manufacturing error, or the usual manufacturing error. I was hoping that random sequencing or random timing or music-paced timing would also be possible with another switch, but there's no choice.

The case is rigid plastic, but I can only guess as to its durability.
In the end, I'm okay with this purchase.
