Sonic Electronix is now carrying Audiobahn's new 2011 subwoofers. The High Excursion series features the same attractive appearance you're used to from Audiobahn with the cast aluminum flame design basket. The high excursion series can be installed in a sealed, ported or band pass enclosure. These subwoofers can operate in a 2 ohm or 8 ohm configuration and come in a 15", 12" or a 10" model, each featuring a dual 4 ohm voice coil. Featuring multi-connect lug lock terminals, the high excursion series offers increased versatility in wiring multiple subwoofers.

Audiobahn’s High Excursion subwoofer is regarded as the most widely applicable performance subwoofer. Whether it’s installed in a sealed, ported or band pass enclosure or even in novice SPL applications, this subwoofer will adapt to your ever-changing car audio needs and various musical tastes.

The taller, narrower surround increases cone surface area which means more air displacement, which gives way to greater efficiency. Also, since the, surround is taller, it creates a longer excursion with the same linear control.

This series of subwoofers features a high-gloss cone made from high-strength carbon composite with laminated pulp reinforcement. The cone is much sturdier than paper cones, allowing for more aggressive operation.
