JL Audio Stealthboxes are the solution to the problem of Subwoofers taking up most of the room in your automobiles trunk. These custom enclosures are vehicle specific and maximize performance while minimizing loss of vehicle utility & comfort. Hence the name "Stealth" Box, these unique enclosures install discreetly in your vehicle and are almost undetectable.
This Stealthbox was designed specifically for the 2010-Up Ford Taurus and is loaded with one JL Audio 13-1/2" TW5 Thin-Line subwoofer. This subwoofer features a peak power rating of 1200 watts with an RMS rating of 600 watts. Its is constructed with a mica-filled polypropylene cone and a santoprene rubber surround. The stealthbox installs in the bottom of the spare tire well and the spare tire mounts to the box itself. Best of all, this Stealthbox is specifically tuned for the Taurus by JL Audio's sub-bass experts, and is ready to serve as the center point of your ultimate audio system.
