Good headphones, would like a little stronger bass
These have very nice clear sound quality but didn't have as much bass as I wanted for my specific application, which was to connect to my bass guitar pre-amp for practicing without disturbing the family. As expected from Audio Technica the sound quality is superb and they didn't waste money on a lot of extra fluff. They're comfortable too.
I ended up giving these to my Mom (she loves them) and buying the Panasonic RP-HTF600-S for their 50mm drivers. They have better bass, but don't sound as good otherwise, particularly in the highs.
If you want strong bass shell out for headphones with good 50mm drivers or the Bass series Audio Techinicas. If deep bass isn't critical to you these are cheaper and sound fantastic.
