MTX Audio Thunderform F150C09FB10A-TN (Black, Amplified)

Excellent Molded Sub

I had an MTX Thunderform in my 2005 Dodge Ram and really missed it. When I got this F150 I decided to drop the cash and get that beat back. This unit did not disappoint!

Installed in less than an hour, sounds great and has a convenient knob control to regulate the flow.

My only complaint is the wiring is on the side instead of the back. Would make it much easier to run it out the back. Where it is if someone throws something under the seat it will knock the wires lose.

Perfect bass for a stock system.

This is a great addition to a stock audio system. I am running a stock headunit and stock door speakers. This unit delivers good quality deep bass that does not overpower the rest of the system. For those of you that want to wake the neighbors, this sub is not for you. With my doors shut you can not hear the bass outside. This is a plus for me. In my opinion, this set up is perfect and it performs way more than the advertised 200 rms. The only downside is the price. I purchased the amplified version and at 500 bucks, it's not a steal. Sonic however gave me a price break and I appreciate that.

I bought this amplified MTX thunderform for my 09 Ford F-150 Supercrew. I am a newbie when it comes to aftermarket audio. What I was hoping for was to add low end to the system without being obnoxious (and to keep the stock head unit). Perfect!! Great sound and perfect design. It can definitely rattle your windows if you want it to. Only negative is giving up the drivers side half of your backseat. Wish it was designed to fit on the passenger side.
