nice sub
Great sub, just bought it a couple of weeks ago got a custom 4 cuft box ported and tunned to the mfg's specs. I have it powered by a power acoustik D1-3000D @ 4 ohms for the break in period. Later I will rewire for 1 ohm and really see what this thing can do. You get quite a bang for your buck!!! I will be buying one more and another amp so i can get where i want my system to be.

Great Subwoofer..Terribly Overrated.
This subwoofer hits lows like an earthquake. I would play it in the trunk of my Camry on half volume and my driver and passenger seats would literally shake. The only problem with this subwoofer is it CANNOT handle constant power over 1000 watts. I had replaced 2 of them in the period of 5 weeks running on 1400 watts constant from a Hifonics Gladiator 1400.1. They fall apart under their own stress. The max wattage I would recommend would be around 700-900 watts constant. You can of course get 1500 watt burps and such. I was hitting 140 decibels with it on 1400 watts. But if you have it on more then 700-900 watts constant, you will blow it in 2 weeks. Great subwoofer...Terribly Overrated. Worth the price though. If you want earthquakes and earaches from 1 single 15" sub...purchase this one.

Pretty awesome sub. I have it now at only 500 rms breaking it in but the low notes are just awesome.
