This combo package includes one Kenwood 12" KFC Series Subwoofer and a single 12" Sealed Subwoofer Enclosure. This sub enclosure is a perfect match for the 12" subwoofer. The Kenwood subwoofer features a polypropylene cone and urethane surround. This woofer is also equipped with spring post terminals and a dual ventilation system for extreme heat dissipation. The subwoofer enclosure is equipped with PolyFil for deeper bass and is constructed from durable 3/4" Medium Density Fiberboard covered in black carpet. Sonic Electronix is the only place you will find this perfectly matched combo.

dont blame sub
i had the predecessor to this sub and i had it rms at 400 watts in a ported box and it pounded.... and pounded and pounded. as long as you know what you are doing you should never blow a sub especially a kenwood

A nice combination at a great price!
I coupled this up with a sony xm-1s amp and it sounds great. If you are looking to round out your sound system with a nice deep bass then this is a good deal at a great price. It will get plenty loud, but I'm not one to try to pound out the windows on my suv. I don't know about the durability, but I gave it 5 stars because as long as you don't clip the signal or overpower it any sub should last just fine.

Good while it lasted...
It blew in a matter of a month. My amp definitely had it over powered, but I don't think I could have had the LPF any lower! It was good while it lasted.
