The Roland VH-12-SV V-Hi-Hat

With the Roland VH-12-SV, the line between acoustic hi-hats and V-Hi-Hats becomes almost invisible. The VH-12-SV V-Hi-Hat has been designed to precisely model its acoustic counterparts; so much so that beginner and expert drummers alike will think they actually are playing a standard two-piece hi-hat. The VH-12-SV utilizes top and bottom cymbals with full motion capability to offer you a very natural stick/pedal feel and sound. Additionally, it was designed to take full use of the TD-20 Percussion Sound Module's dynamics.

The dual-trigger VH-12-SV makes silky smooth hi-hat transition sounds down to the most minute detail. By applying pressure to the pedal (even after closing), you can alter the pitch and decay for fast and tight articulations. Like its predecessor, the VH-12-SV must be mounted on a conventional hi-hat stand. The VH-12-SV is also available in black, it's fully compatible with Roland's TD-20, TD-20X, TD-12, TD-9 and TD-4, and can be used with TD-10 with TDW-1, TD-8 and TD-6/-6V.
