Although a fuse is not an extra add on, as it is needed. I feel the extra cost of a more expensive - more waterproofed fuse holder was something I wanted for my vehicle's install. Item is good quality. JL audio won't disappoint.

Quality product - very easy to install. I had a hard time finding the right fuse - but one of my local auto parts stores finally had the fuse. Also - a bit of dish soap really helps with the rubber seal.
