The 5mm aluminum filled bottom has aluminum in the middle of the bottom surrounded by stainless steel so the aluminum never touches your food. The aluminum filling heats evenly for better cooking.0.8mm Stainless Steel body. Handles and knob are made of strong Bakelite plastic with stainless steel. The body is a Stainless Steel Satin Finish with a Polish Strip at the top.
