best HU I have ever owned
I got this because it had the USB plug on the front.......... it also has the IPOD plug in the back. I can plug my IPOD in the back (VIA the cable I alos got from Sonic) or use my other MP3 player and plug it in the front with the same cable I use to put music onto the player! I have an Audiobahn sub and amp and this HU seems to really make it hit alot harder! I love this HU and its by far the best one I have ever owned

I like em...
I purchased this head unit a couple months back and I like it. There are problems to it which were already stated but overall I think its a good deal. I mainly bought it to use my mp3 player with and it works great for that.

Don\'t Bother
I recently purchased this deck and have been regretting that decision ever since. I have previously owned 2 JVC head units - I would really like to switch back.
When manually switching between songs the first half a second of a song is cut off. That may not seem like a big deal, but after a week it is driving me crazy! It also puts pauses between songs if you are letting a CD play through - not cool if you're listening to one long techno track broken up into several songs. When turning up the volume while listening to the radio, it causes the subwoofers to "pop", also a huge nuisance. It plays 2 out of my 15 mp3 cds (that I made for my previous player, and they worked fine). Lastly, you have to press a button to see the clock - a major problem when you're trying to figure out how late you are in traffic.
As far as good qualities - it's pretty and it reads mp3s off of USB drives. These two minor things do not make up for all the problems I've had with this unit. Do yourself a favor and pass this one up.
