Huge Improvement!
This sub is highly recommended. A huge difference over the Sony want to be 6" sub. Easy install with good directions. Pretty much plug and play. I installed on my 14' F150 Raptor. The only con I can think of, is not having a sub level dial where you could adjust the bass on different types of music.
