Why Fog Lights?

During rainy, foggy, snowy or otherwise poor weather conditions your road visibility is greatly reduced by the precipitation in the air. Typical headlight kits, Halogen and HID alike are not meant for these types of conditions and will cause a glare, further reducing your visibility. A fog light's job is to focus the lightbeam to the immediate foreground to allow you to see the road markings and edges more clearly. Using a high quality fog light in conjunction with a powerful headlight kit will reduce glare, allow you to see the road more clearly and also give your vehicle more visibility to other drivers so that you and other drivers on the road can drive safer. Hella's Micro DE High Performance fog lamps are their most popular and versatile fog lamp. With this design they have managed to fit high performance in a very compact and light weight design. The housing and reflector are made of magnesium to keep the weight down.
