These are the original OEM Sennheiser cables for the HD580, HD600. The cords are kind of flimsy but that's by design. I borrowed a set of 580's and the cable started shorting out, so I had to replace the cable before I returned them.

This has nothing to do with the vendor. They did a great job!

I bought this headphone cable because I was in dyer need of a new cable working from home I needed a cable fast since my old one the left side kept cutting in and out. I searched the net and found this company has the best price so I ordered from them. The cable arrived like 2-3 days later 3-4 days ahead of the scheduled delivery. The cable was the exact same as my original cord and worked as soon as I plugged it in. I was rocking out in both ears once again. I will definitely buy from Sonic Electronix again!!

got my new cable for old senheissers 580 and now back to new.

Works well!

I bought this to replace the cord on my HD535 headphones. The price was a bit high but considering that it was about 1/5 th the price of the headphones which I liked very much, it was worth it. No directions for replacement came with the cable, but it seemed to be designed to plug in directly into each earpiece. Pulling the existing failing cable straight out using pliers worked fine. The new cable ends simply plugs into each ear piece with a little help from the pliers.

All said and done it works great now and I'll be a little more careful of the cable in the future!

A Quick Affordable Fix for Expensive Headphones

I bought my Sennheiser HD600s about 4 years ago, and they worked fine up until about 2 years ago.

Then, suddenly, the right headphone stopped working. I was devastated, because I didn't want to buy a new pair, and I was too lazy to mail them in to a Sennheiser center.

Anyways long story short, I realized that it was a problem with the original cables that came with the headphones.

I ordered this replacement cable, swapped out the broken ones, and voila! I had beautiful, clear sound once again.

This particular cable is nice because you don't need an adapter to use it in regular devices (iphone, mp3 player, laptop, etc.)

5/5 would recommend if you think your cables are flubbing up your amazing headphones.
