Hooked to my Kenwood receiver, easy works great. Now I can see when backing up my JK.

Boyo camera review

Excellent picture quality in both light and dark situations. You can select between true or reverse camera image, as well as on or off distance markers. To select these options, there is a jumper wire that needs to be cut in half. Default is reverse image and distance markers on.

The kit comes with adequate RCA cable length for the run from the back to the dash of the vehicle.

The built-in IR emitters really aid in increasing the camera visibility in dark situations.

Now, for the only gripe I have with this camera. The screw that holds the camera in the position, doesn't hold the camera in place. The screw goes into thin threaded sheet metal, which unfortunately doesn't allow the screw to tighten up enough to support the camera's weight, plus the shock of when the trunk is opened and/or closed. I need to get a tiny nut from Home Depot to tighten up the bracket that the camera mounts to. Other opens would have been to use a tiny bit of silicone or depending where the camera sits, a piece of high quality of double sided tape.
