good tweeter for the price
Work these tweeters off radio only, no amplifier. Good sound until you turn up volume and then some distortion, only at high volumes. Good sound for this price range.

mediocre speaker
A little disappointed in this speaker. At higher volumes I get some distortion. I have them powered only by the radio, no amplifier.

Put these in the rear doors of a 04 Dodge Ram 1500. They didn't fit to well that was my fault for not checking. The basket of the speaker is a little wide so they didn't go all the way into the factory hole. I had to make spacers out of some 1/4 wood to fill the gap. Once installed sound was good but not worth the extra work. So this review is kind of bias being I messed up.

Amazing sound!
Amazing sound for such a small speakers! I've installed them to my Corolla and with Sony Cd player they produce great sound! Definitely I'm very happy with them!

Great Sound
Ordered as replacement speakers in my classic 87 Pulsar and what an improvement. All around better sound and more volume capacity at a great price.

good bang for the buck
I bought this as a gift for my friend - Toyota Corolla. The fit was good, diameter and screw alignment-wise. The tweeter stuck out a little more than stock speakers so the original grill didn't fit; but shaving down a little bit of plastic inside the grill solved the problem. These are hooked up to a Pioneer deck, no external amp.
Sound - characteristic of Clarion speakers of clear/bright highs, open mid, moderate bass. A significant upgrade from stock speakers for sure. My friend loves them.

Nice for the price!!!
These speakers are a great fit for replacing roll bar speakers in my 2000 Wrangler. Sound great , not a lot of bass but that's not what I was looking for. I supplement them with an Infinity Basslink mounted to the inside of the tailgate. Great sound for a Jeep, and simple too!!! I just got them so I can't rate durability. So far so good!

Does fit 1999 Jeep Wrangler factory roll bar
DOES fit in a 1999 Jeep Wrangler SE factory roll bar like a glove. Great dynamic range in the mids and highs, not so well lows. Didn't expect to get lows out of a 5.25 speaker. Great speaker for the price, and beats the factory's hands down.
