The midwoofer has an extended low frequency range that will give you great bass reproduction even without a subwoofer. The tweeter will give crisp and clear highs to your music. With over 40 years of audio experience, MTX Audio makes sure and knows how to create quality audio in their products, and the Thunder Series is no exception!
Of course adding a subwoofer to your system will give you fantastic bass reproduction in your system, but with the MTX midwoofer's extended low frequency range, you will have a great bass response even without a subwoofer. For increased quality be sure to couple the speakers with an amplifier and notice the low frequency even more!
With the swivel you can adjust the tweeters for imaging control. The tweeter will swivel up to 15°. The crisp highs will give your music the clarity it deserves.

These speakers pack a punch!!
I bought these to install on my 2002 Toyota Camry. At the moment, they will not fit into the dash (too wide), but I'm going to find a way to fit these speakers in my dash because they sound amazing and are very loud!! I did wire these to my Pioneer AVH-4300DVD double din screen instead of my amp because my head unit puts out enough power to supply these speakers!! I just cut the wires off my old tweeter and crimped connectors on the ends and connected to these speakers. Would definitely recommend!!

Nice Speakers
Needed these 3 inch speakers to fit my 86 mustang since I was replacing the dash pad . They fit fine and sound a lot better than the factory installed ones .
